mark alsweiler

Born in the deep south of New Zealand in 1983.
Bachelor of Arts, Majoring in Design 2001 - 2005.

Mark is an artist and designer currently living and working in Sydney, Australia.
His instantly recognizable folkish style is influenced heavily from south american folk art, in particular of the American Indian and an affinity with objects, imagery and music from the days of old.

His acrylic paintings and wooden sculptures often involve themes revolving around a world of contrast including life and death, old and new and male and female. Alsweiler's work sees the beautiful cooperation of opposites and a union where contradiction becomes complement.

His work has been featured in Lodown and Empty Magazines as well as online on the popular American websites Beautiful Decay and Fecal Face.  He has shown in galleries such as China Heights and Monster Children in Sydney and Nine Lives Gallery in Brisbane.  He most recently has been designing t-shirts for RVCA Australia.

sprinkles

"Sprinkles, a new step in creative license." Stomp the city streets of Sydney and it wont take long for your daily grind tunnel vision to collapse leaving your senses hijacked.
Skulking in rotten alleys and stalking you from rooftops, the giant skulls and heavily made up cute killer critters that spearhead this artists arsenal await patiently to slice open your imagination.

Hailing from Palmerston North New Zealand, "Sprinkles" is blazing a well respected name for himself on the world art stage. A weapon with a spray can and highly skilled penmanship has landed "Sprinks" a well earned spot in the Sydney art movement.

Gallery shows aplenty, a plethora of live performances under his belt, and the Australian helmsman of internationally acclaimed label “HLFSTR.WORLDFAMOUSINSYDNEY.” "Sprinkles" is fast proving himself a driving force and major player in the Sydney creative scene.

alex lehours

Alex Lehours is a Sydney based illustrator and designer. With a strong passion for illustration Alex’s work can be best described as an eccentric explosion of chaos, humour, colour and absolute randomness.

An artist with no boundaries, Alex’s work is a combination of the past and present. Pen, pencil, ink and water colour frequently appear in Alex’s work, however he is constantly exploring new mediums and avenues for all of his pieces.

Although Alex studied art and design at university and has been working as a designer for the past 4 years, he still regards himself as a freshman to the commercial art scene. He has worked on numerous projects both internationally and domestically including live drawings for FBI Radio, The Australian Museum’s Jurassic Lounge and Primo Magazine. He was also a contestant in the 2011 Secret Wars Sydney Series.

With a love for what he does, Alex couldn’t think of a better way to spend his days than drawing, painting and drawing some more.
